An Evansville man is behind bars after authorities say he was arrested on a warrant for Dealing in a Controlled Substance Causing Death. An Evansville, Indiana man was arrested on several charges on Tuesday after police say a warrant was issued for his arrest for Dealing in a Controlled Substance Causing Death.
Detectives were looking for year-old Gene Hoover of Evansville on Tuesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest for Dealing in a Controlled Substance Causing Death. Police say Hoover was seen walking down Fares Avenue at Diamond Avenue, and that he was taken into custody for the warrant. At the time of Hoover's arrest on Tuesday, police say he had meth, some pills, and a digital scale on him. According to Police, Hoover said he had just picked up the meth from a hotel on Fares Avenue. Police say Hoover also admitted to selling meth to his family members and a few other people.
